Elijah "Eli" Curry Kindred, beloved son of Mark and Dale (Curry) Kindred, passed away in a tragic accident in Missoula on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015. He was 24 years old.
Eli was born Dec. 8, 1990, in Missoula. He is the second oldest of his parents' seven children. He was a quiet, shy little boy who loved to play with his siblings and dreamt of doing big things with his life. As soon as he was old enough, he had a job and was driving. He loved cars and driving with his friends or working on his latest car project. He graduated from Sentinel High School in 2009, where he was a proud member of the wrestling team.
He received a degree in diesel technology from Montana State University-Northern in 2014. Eli most recently lived in Gillette, Wyoming, where he worked as a mechanic for the Buckskin Mining Company. Eli loved spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed being outdoors motorcycling, boating, snowmobiling, hunting or off-roading in his Jeep. Eli had so many passions in his life and we are grateful that he shared them with us.
Eli is survived by his parents; his siblings, Taylor, Markie (Geoffrey Glidewell), Levi, Noah, Grace and Lily; his grandparents, Robert and Delores Curry, Jackie Kindred and Ron Kindred (Linda); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
His generosity with his time and money was seemingly limitless, as he always wanted his friends and family to have everything they needed. He was an incredibly loving son, brother and friend. We will miss Eli's warm smile, generous heart and contagious laughter. He truly dedicated himself to living life to its fullest and is an inspiration to us all. He will be missed by many and we can't wait to see him again in heaven.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Atonement Lutheran Church, 2205 34th St. Please come honor Eli by celebrating his birthday with us.
