Doris E. Janes

Doris E. Janes, 81, of Missoula passed away of natural causes September 16th, 2015 at St. Patrick Hospital.

Doris was born February 24, 1934 in Enders, Nebraska to Eunice and Albert Lee Trowbridge. She attended Franklin Grade School and Missoula County High School in Missoula. She completed Dental Assistant training in Seattle, Washington.

Doris married Clifford Janes July 9th, 1953. They had 62 happy years together.

Doris really liked the outdoors and loved to get out when she could. Doris and Cliff took their camper and boat all over Western, Montana. She was very active in her church and helped out as often as she could.
Doris really was a 'social butterfly' and had many friends. She cared deeply about her friends and family and was always there to help them out. She worried more about others than she did herself.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Colleen; and two nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Cliff; two sons, Ken and Ron all of Missoula; grandson Chris Janes of Boulder, CO; brothers Bob (Donna) Trowbridge and Jerry Trowbridge of Missoula; and numerous family members.

Viewing will be held at Grace United Methodist Church in Missoula on Friday September 25th at 1p.m. A funeral service will begin at 2p.m followed by a reception and burial.

Arrangements are under the care of Garden City Funeral Home.
