MISSOULA - Donald R. Moravec, 78, passed away of a stroke at his home in Missoula Tuesday, January. 1a3, 2009, after an 18-month illness.
He was born in Missoula on June 28, 1930, to Harry and Mildred Moravec.
He graduated from Missoula County High School in 1950, and served in the Army in Korea from 1951-1953.
He married Viola Skeels in 1954 and they had two children, Debbie and Monty.
Don trained to be an electrician and worked for George Watt Electric for many years. He also worked on the new St. Patrick Hospital and several jobs in Washington and other places.
He was preceded in death by wife, Vi; daughter, Debbie; son, Monty; his parents, Harry and Mildred; and brother, Frank. He has one sister, Ruth Coch in California.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Nazarene Church, corner of 2339 26th Ave. and one block west on South Avenue, with a reception to follow at the church.
