Donald W. "Donnie" Kreger

Donald W. "Donnie" Kreger, 58, of Missoula passed away on Feb. 17, 2015 at his residence of natural causes.
Donnie was born on Feb. 5, 1957 in West Des Moines, Iowa to James W. and Willette June Kreger. He received a Bachelor's of Business Degree in marketing and a Bachelor's Degree in Management from the University of Iowa.
He enjoyed softball, was the treasurer and an attendee of the Poverello AA group. He loved fishing, hiking, biking and building. Donnie was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved his family more than anything. He referred to his daughter's family as his Northern Tribe (living in Missoula, MT) and his son's family as the Southwest Tribe (living in Phoenix, AZ). He loved his job at Ace Hardware because he had the opportunity to affect people's lives in a positive way. He was a leader by example, setting the standard of hard work in the workplace. He lived his life by a few simple phrases "Do the next right thing", "Know your joy", and "Carry your AAA card at all times, Awareness, Acceptance, and Attitude!".
He walked with God in all that he did, he lived by faith in every moment, and he loved unconditionally because it's all he knew. He will be dearly missed but we celebrate his life and the impact he made on everyone he touched. We love you Papa, Thank You for your many blessings.
Donnie is survived by his son, Benjamin W. (Genea M.) Kreger, daughter, Natalie R. (Christian W.) Baker, grandchildren; Jayden D. and Madison R. Kreger, and Aspen J. and Welles P. Baker, sister, Joanne Kraemer, brother, James Kreger, sisters, Becky Bales and Melissa Van Patten.
A memorial service for Donnie will be held at 2:00 Pm on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 7405 Mullan Rd. The family requests that everyone attending the memorial service please wear lots of bright, colorful clothing and no black clothes.
