Dolores E. Herron

Dolores E. Herron, 89, passed away at Community Medical Center in Missoula on May 30, 2019. “Dee” was born on Sept. 9, 1929 in Hibbings, Minnesota to Herbert and Eva (Tripp) Luchau. She attended school in Deer River Minnesota, graduating from Deer River High School. Dee married Carol J. Herron. She loved to dance, fish, read and travel.
Dolores is preceded in death by her husband Carol, parents; Herb and Eva and three sons; Thomas Metcalf, Michael Metcalf and Richard Metcalf.
She is survived by her son Timothy Metcalf of Las Vegas, Nevada, daughter Linda Fundingsland of Ocean Park, Washington, her sister Darlene Smith and brothers Jerry and Ron Luchau. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Dee’s life will be held at the Salvation Army Missoula Corps, 355 S Russell St, Missoula, MT 59801 on Saturday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m.
