Diana Lynn Ross, 71, of Missoula, passed away on Monday September 21st, 2020 at St. Patrick's Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 29th, 1949 in Spokane, WA, to Herman and Pauline Schwartz.
On June 2nd, 1967, she married the love of her life, David Ross in Missoula, MT. She started working at Missoula Textiles in 1970 and was the office manager there for 50 years. She was an avid hunter, and loved nothing more than spending time with her family outdoors. Her prized accomplishments were two Boone and Crockett Big Horn Sheep and a Boone and Crockett Caribou.
She is survived by her husband David, son Brent, his wife Traci (Missoula), and their son Austin (US Navy) and his wife Madison (VA), son Brian and his daughter Jaydence (Missoula), her brother Bob Schwartz, and sister Linda Schwartz (Missoula).
Her family requests in lieu of flowers, donations to Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation are appreciated.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
