Dennis L. Meyer

Dennis Lee Meyer of Missoula passed away at home on Thursday, March 17, 2016, after a battle with cancer. He was born on Aug. 10, 1949, to Louis and Marge Meyer in Missoula where he was raised. He attended Catholic grade school and graduated from Sentinel High School.

He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend Sandy Meyer; daughter Shawna and her children, Angela, Levi, Natalyn, Lozeau; son Louis and his wife Kathy; brother Al Meyer and his wife Kim; brother Ray Meyer; sister Shirley Mathewson and husband Mark; sister Debbie Terry and husband Jim.

Dennis worked in retail for 22 years and at MRL for 22 years.

He was very active in volunteering at Watson Children's Shelter. He enjoyed camping and having barbecues with friends and family. He will be remembered by all for his loving and giving nature, always ready to extend a helping hand to those who needed it.

There will be a gathering (potluck style) of friends and family at the Welcoma Club located at 3108 S. Clark St. in Missoula on Saturday, April 2, from noon to 2:30 p.m.
