Dennis James Bressler

Dennis James Bressler, 64, of Missoula, MT passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, February 16,
2013.
Dennis was born May 17, 1948 to James Edward Bressler and Joan Marie Hogan in Inglewood, CA.
Dennis was a lifelong music lover and as a teenager played in the marching band, orchestra and swing
band in his high school. Dennis graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in 1966. He was in several
bands outside of school as well.
Dennis went into the Army a month after graduation where he spent serving one tour in Viet Nam.
Dennis became an electrician after the army and joined the National Guard for 3 years. He went back
into the Army at age 30, spending a total of 9 years active duty. He was an electrician, plumber and
builder.
Dennis was widowed at age 21 and divorced at age 30. He moved to Montana in 1986 where he became
reacquainted with his childhood friend, Jerrilee Sue Goforth. Dennis became the step father of 7
children.
Dennis is survived by his wife JerrileeBressler, of Missoula, Step children, Jason Eggleston of Stevensville,
MT, Becky Shumway of Boston, MA, Jeannette Owens, of Waupun, WI, Brian Eggleston of Idaho Falls, ID,
Julie Vinson of Severn, MD, Brock Eggleston of Missoula, MT, Bryce Eggleston of Stevensville, MT,
Siblings, Mitchell Bressler, of Great Falls MT, leann Porter of Missoula, MT, Cheri Guse of Sioux Falls, SD.
Kathy Stahl of Washington and Jenise Hart of Fallon, NV. his best friends Mike and Cyndi Triplett of
Seeley lake, MT. Dennis had 27 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints 3201 Bancroft, Missoula,
MT at 3:00. His ashes will be interred at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery where he will be accorded
full Military honors the following week and at Rainy lake this summer.
Dennis's great sense of humor will be greatly missed.
