Delroy “Del” Kenneth Kramer passed away 12/18/19 at 78 years old. Del was born in 1941 to Nina and Roy Kramer in Dickinson, ND. Del attended area schools until he enlisted in the Navy. After leaving the Navy, Del resided in Montana. It was during this time, Del had started his career as a truck driver. He hauled a lot of different commodities during his time as a driver, both as a company driver and owner operator. Being a truck driver was something Del very much enjoyed. He knew the interstates and state highways better than Rand McNalley as there was probably very few of them he had never been on. When health issues forced him to finally retire, one could tell he very much missed it by the way his face lit up when he reminisced his driving days.
Del was an animal lover. It was rare to see him without a dog or two (or more) at all times.
Del was proceeded in death by his parents, brother.
Del is survived by his sister, Marion (Wibaux, MT); his daughters Shannon Richardson (Grand Forks, ND), and Kristy Kramer (Missoula, MT); Grand-daughters Anyssa Richardson (Phoenix, AZ), Heleena Kramer (Missoula, MT); several nieces and nephews; cousins; friends.
The family of Del would like to thank Missoula Emergency Services for their diligent efforts on CPR to restore a heartbeat; the ICU nurses and doctors at St. Patrick Hospital that gave Del every best opportunity for recovery; the chaplain at St.Pats that was with the family when the difficult decision to let Del join the angels was made.
In lieu of flowers and cards, the family requests making a donation to the nearest animal shelter.
Cremation has already taken place. There will be an internment at the Veterans Cemetery at a later date with full military honors.

Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear.” – Anonymous
