Deano, 54, of Missoula passed away on Monday November 3rd, 2014. He was born on August 16, 1960 in Missoula to Robert & Joy Winstone. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and friend and will be truly missed by all.
Deano was raised in Missoula, Montana where he attended both grade school and high school. His career started at Missoula Sheet Metal as a roofer until it ended years later with a work related accident. He then went on to fulfill his dream of owning a small cattle ranch.
Deano and Roxanne Gillingham were married and they had a son, Brandon, who meant the world to them. Brandon went on to have two of his own children, Braeden and Hailee. Papa, as his grandchildren called him, loved spending his time with Brandon and his grandkids. Deano seldom missed any of the children's sporting events and regularly displayed his pride by wearing his sweatshirt with "Wrestling Papa" on the back. Over the years they created lots of happy memories.
Deano also loved spending his time with his family and friends. One of his greatest joys was taking rides in the mountains with Selina on his beloved horses and coming home to spend time with his step daughter, Lisa.
He is survived by his son Brandon (wife Michelle), Grandchildren- Braeden & Hailee, Brothers-Greg & Pam Winstone (Jennifer & Justin), Todd (Tristan & Taylor), Sister- Charn & Duane Bezdicek (Bryan & Amy), Stepchildren- Lisa & Matthew, numerous great nieces & nephews, and the love of his life, Selina. Deano also shared a special bond with Levi Bruce.
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, November 10th, 11 am at Garden City Funeral Home, followed by a reception in the community room.
