Obituary for David Cutts "Logan" Logan

David "Logan" Cutts Logan, 69 of Missoula passed away Monday May 9, 2016 at his home of a heart attack.
He was born Sept. 25, 1947 in Elizabeth, NJ to Simpson and Alice Logan. He spent the majority of his adult life in El Paso, TX, where he met and married his wife Beatrice in 1972. In 1977 he adopted Beatrice's son David Edward, at the same time they adopted a baby girl, Mary Alice Margaret "Megan."
In 1982 he and his daughter moved to Missoula, MT, where he raised his daughter on his own and lived a full life filled with many wonderful friendships.
He enjoyed target shooting, building rifles, blacksmithing, cooking, building model air planes, reading, gardening, he loved to share stories and he collected any and everything.
He could do just about anything, if it was broke he could fix it, if you needed something built he could build it. He was incredibly smart and had a very kind heart.
He was a loving father, grandfather and friend of to many to count.
Survivors include his son, David (Lysette) Logan of Houston, TX, daughter, Megan (Chris) Walters, of Kalispell, nephew Ian Logan, a cousin Ronni Cutts of Huntington, WV, 8 grandchildren and his dog "Melvin" who everyone knew and loved.
A celebration of David's life will be held 10:00AM Friday May 20, 2016 at Garden City Funeral Home in Missoula. Interment will follow at Missoula City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
