David Bateman

David M. Bateman 63 of East Missoula, passed away at his home on July 29, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Dave was born on Feb. 24, 1953 to Willis and Alice Bateman of Turah, MT. Dave went to Job Corps and learned carpentry skills. He became a journeyman carpenter and form setter, working construction jobs in Montana, Wyoming and Utah.
Dave liked the usual guy stuff; camping, fishing and hunting, and he spend many hours doing all three.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Alice Bateman in May of 2016.
He is survived by his father Willis, sister Cheri and brother Jess, nephews Brian Carman of California, Shawn Carman of Missoula as well as aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews and many cousins. He will be missed by all.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Turah Store and Campground on Aug. 13, 2016 from 11 AM until 3PM. Please bring your favorite dish and story about Dave, I know we all have one of each.
