Darren Shon Branning, born on July 16, 1964, to Mary Lynn and Noel Branning, passed away leaving behind cherished memories of his vibrant spirit and storytelling nature. As the second of three children, Darren embraced his role as the dreamer and storyteller of the family, captivating those around him with tales of adventure and an uncanny ability to connect deeply with others—especially his younger sister, whose thoughts he seemed to read effortlessly.
In his early twenties, Darren moved to Seattle, where he became a steadfast presence in the lives of his two nephews, Jerrett Keith and Ryan James. His unwavering support and guidance during their formative years created a bond that endured through life’s highs and lows. The lessons he imparted continue to resonate with them today.
Darren was an avid reader who found immense joy in the written word. His talent as a writer was equally remarkable, reflecting his creative soul and passion for storytelling.
