Brager, Darline A.
Passed in peace of natural causes at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana on Monday, Jan. 29, 2018 at the age of 90.
Darline was born in 1927 in Moorhead, Minnesota where she was raised with her eight siblings (four currently surviving). On June of 1946 Darline married Clifford R. Brager. While living in Minnesota they had their first two Sons John Brager and Douglas Brager.
In 1955 the family then moved to Missoula, where Darline and Ray had their third son Kreg Brager. Darline and Ray raised their three boys in East Missoula where she truly loved the adventures of motherhood while she also worked in the Food Service Department at the University of Montana for 25 years. Her husband Clifford died in November of 1988.
In 1993 Darline met Floyd Smith. They lived together for 25 years; first in Moose Lake, MT and then finally calling Hamilton, MT home sweet home. They experienced many fun adventures together. Darline spent her days enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cooking, tending her flowers and dancing to country western music never forgetting to wear her red cowboy boots.
Darline is survived by her partner Floyd Smith, three sons John (Marilyn) Brager, Douglas (Kathy) Brager and Kreg (Julie) Brager, 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Darline Brager was a loving wife, friend, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a special woman who made her family's world a brighter, better place. A life well lived is a precious gift. Our hearts will treasure all the memories.
