Darlene K. Clark, 76, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at St. Patrick Hospital after a long battle with heart disease.
She was born Aug. 25, 1937, in Spokane to Neil and Christine Meyer. She met and married Forrest Clark in Livingston on April 7, 1954. Her main passion was gourmet cooking, ceramics, people and children. She also found time to serve as a firefighter and first responder in the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years until her health problems became an issue.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Christine Helen; brothers, Albert and Lewis; granddaughter, Nicole C. Gardner.
She is survived by her husband, Forrest Clark of Clinton; two daughters, Vickie Dunham of Libby and Cathleen Clark of Clinton; brothers, Don, Frank Forrest and Dale Meyer; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
All of your love will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, St. Patrick Hospital, Hospice and the great staff that has attended to her comfort and care.
No memorial service is planned at this time; cremation is by the Cremation and Burial Society of the Rockies. Memorials may be sent to Camp Mak-A-Dream in Gold Creek
