15 hours ago(0) CommentsMISSOULA – Danny Dutton, 56, of Missoula, passed away at St. Patrick Hospital on Thursday, May 16, 2013.
Dan was born into a Navy family and spent much of his childhood at bases across the country and in Spain. In 1968 he moved to Great Falls, where he first attended East Junior High and then graduated from Great Falls High in 1974. Dan attended the University of Montana. He was active in both university and high school debate competition, acting as a participant, mentor, coach and judge for more than a decade.
One of Dan's favorite periods was working for Land & Water Consulting, where he was able to apply his historical research skills to complex water rights cases. Dan's family would like to thank all his colleagues at Land & Water for their support during that period. His other love was the gaming community, and he spent many long nights challenging friends and mentoring nephews over strategy and skills.
He is survived by sisters, Terry Egan (Ken Egan), Vickie Wallace (Doug Wallace) and Kathy Dutton (Richard Goldberg); brothers, Barry (Susan Molaris) and Jon Dutton; nephews, Clayton Dutton, Greg Wallace, Devin Egan, Brian Egan, Shawn Wallace, David and Joe Goldberg; and nieces, Ievy Bopp, Jazzy Dutton and Julia Goldberg.
Instead of memorials, his family encourages you to remember Dan kindly and spend time with your own loved ones.
