Daniel Ray Teague, 60, of Missoula died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at his home in Missoula after two year battle with cancer.
He was born Jan. 27, 1954, in Missoula to John C. Teague and Shirley M. Ward. He graduated from Enterprise High School in Redding, California. Dan enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1987.
Dan's marriage to Ann M. Wilson brought him the joy of three children.
Dan enjoyed camping and boating on the shores of Placid Lake. He had a dry sense of humor and a split tooth grin that we will all miss. He left us too soon.
Dan is preceded in death by his son Christopher J. Teague; a brother John (Buddy) Teague; his grandparents and parents.
He is survived by his long time companion Jackie Webber; daughter Danielle M. Teague; son Jace R. Teague; sisters, Diane Richie and Jane Damron; brothers, Robert E. Tharp and Randy R. Teague; stepsisters, Pam Kelton and Mary Osborn; two grandchildren and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at the Western Montana State Veteran's Cemetery at 1911 Tower St. (next to Big Sky High School) in Missoula Monday, June 23 at 1 p.m. A potluck reception will follow at the Eagles Lodge at 2420 South Ave. W. in Missoula.
