Craig Allen Shepard

Craig Allen Shepard, 48, of Frenchtown, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014. He was born on Mother's Day - May 8, 1966 to Warren "Chuck" Shepard and Joyce Shepard.
Craig attended Washington grade school in Missoula and later transferred to Frenchtown in the spring of 1978. He played football and was on the first state Class B championship team at Frenchtown. Craig then went on to attend the University of MT and was a huge GRIZ fan. He followed the Griz from the time his older brother Chuck played in the mid 80's.
On August 6, 1988, he married LaDonna Liska and they had three children. Levi, Lindsey and Carson. They later divorced in 2008.
Craig loved hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed his time with Levi and his friends in Fish Creek. Craig was an awesome father, he rarely missed a chance to watch his kids in all of their activities – traveling many miles to let them know he always there for them.
Craig was preceded in death by his sister Carrie and his loving grandparents Burt and Mary Nelson of E. Missoula.
Survivors include his three children: Levi, Lindsey and Carson, Frenchtown; parents Warren "Chuck" (Donna) Shepard Missoula; and Joyce Shepard, Missoula; brother Chuck (Becky) Shepard and daughter Haley, Frenchtown; sister Megan Shepard, Helena and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 27, from 5-7 at Garden City Funeral home with services held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with reception immediately following at Garden City Funeral.
