Cornelius Meckler

COLUMBIA FALLS - Conn passed away at the Columbia Falls Montana Veterans Home.





He is survived by his daughter Connie Fawcett of Whitefish; son Gerald Meckler of Kalispell; brother Joe Madder of Sparks, Nev.; grandson Jason Fawcett (Erin) of Seattle; nephews Brett and Billy and Jimmy Michels; cousin Dick Meckler of Condon; special friend Marg Lang of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; and many other nieces and nephews and cousins.





He was an avid motorcyclist and snowmobiler, and had many friends in the Missoula area. As Meckler’s Upholstery, he was well known for his skilled craftsmanship. He was a member of The Eagles and much sought after by the ladies for his dancing skills. On his many trips by motorcycle, he was always accompanied by his faithful dog, Beanie.





A memorial service is being planned for Conn in Missoula for late May or early June and an announcement will precede this date once it has been arranged.
