Cleyone Daly

Cleyone Daly, 86, originally from Black Eagle, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

Cleyone was born on Aug. 10, 1927, in Hurricane, Utah, to Bessie and Eugene Cutler, the oldest of three children. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School, as well as the Cadet Nursing Corp.

While in high school, she met Robert Daly, the love of her life. They were married on June 16, 1946. Together they had two daughters, Vickie and Terri. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go camping and fishing with her family and friends. While on an outing, she would often hike to a scenic spot while Bob was fishing and sketch the view. On her way back she would collect rocks that were interesting to her. (All of them were!)

Over the years she and Bob belonged to many bowling leagues and loved to go dancing with their friends. She worked for many years as a teacher's aid at Collins and Sacajawea elementary schools in the Great Falls area. She had recently moved to the home of Tom and Vickie Yule, son-in-law and daughter. Cleyone had a huge heart and will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.

Cleyone is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bob; her brother Bob Cutler and her sister Donna Wallace.

She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Yule (Tom) and Terri Bowers (Ron); along with her beloved grandchildren Dale Yule (Ellie), Tim Yule (Liv) and Karla Heileson (Dave), Dustin Bowers; and great-grandchildren, Eryn, Anneay, Devin, Sebastian, Odette, Sabra, Andrew, Jackson, Hans, Lydia, Tanner, Heidi and Cydnee, who will all miss their Grandma Gigi so very much.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Feb. 22 at the LDS church in Clinton
