Obituary for Cletus L. "Clete" Weber

Clete Weber, 83, of Missoula, passed away Aug. 18, 2013, at the Riverside Health Center after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

He was born in Madison Lake, Minn., on Feb. 28, 1930, to Leo and Louise Weber. Clete enlisted in the Army, where he became a certified aviation mechanic. He had a love for trucks and worked as a professional truck driver. While traveling through Montana, he fell in love with the mountains and in 1966 moved his family to Missoula. He retired from Missoula Cartage in 2000.

Clete enjoyed visiting and having a laugh with friends. He loved getting together with family for a hot dice game. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Louise; son Dean Weber; sister Delores McCarthy; brother Ernie; and brother-in-law Don Anderson.

He is survived by his wife Verna; son Don Weber (Cindy) of Anaheim, Calif.: daughter Debbie O'Toole (Kelly) of Missoula; four stepchildren, Roberta O'Neil (Luke), Tom, Renee and Brian Rennaker; two sisters, Ev Anderson (Howard) and Mildred Anderson, and sister-in-law Helen Weber, all residing in Mankato, Minn.; along with nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Clete's life will be announced at a later date
