Christine Cartwright (Bushlak), 57, passed away August 25, 2017 at the Evergreen Missoula Health and Rehab.
She was born June 11, 1960 to Charles and Mary Cartwright in Butte. The family moved to Anaconda in 1965 where she went to public schools. When she was 27, she married John Bushlak a professional photographer from Missoula. They settled in Missoula where they had one son, John, Jr. of Hamilton, the highlight of her life.
She enjoyed playing rummy and pinochle, music, shopping, and loved the Denver Broncos. She’ll be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt who was very caring, kind and generous. She was much, much loved by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister Shirley Taylor, niece Chrystal Handsaker and nephew Chad Taylor.
Survivors include her son, John, Jr., sisters Charlene of Spokane, WA and Mary Cartwright of Anaconda; nephews Duane (Connie) Taylor and Travis (Joanne) Taylor of Missoula; nieces Natalie (Jesse) Jaeger of Missoula, Tommara (Sid) Britt of Butte, and Misty (
Dave) Faust of Georgetown Lake and many great nieces and nephews from Butte, Anaconda and Missoula.
There will be a memorial from 1-6pm at the American Legion, 825 Ronan St. in Missoula on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, where lunch and refreshments will be served. Condolences for the family may be left at gardencityfh.com
