Christina LuAnn "Chrissy" Hubbard, 37, of Missoula, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, due to medical complications including Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP).
She was born on Jan. 16, 1978, in Burley, Idaho, to Ed and Laura Hubbard. Chrissy was educated primarily through the Meridian School District of Idaho and later finished high school in Salem, Oregon. Throughout high school she had a passion for drawing and a love for literature.
On Nov. 22, 2002, Chrissy's first daughter, Isabella Kristine Hubbard, was born. Chrissy married her husband, Christopher Jandik, on March 20, 2008, and lived in Missoula, where Chrissy worked as an assistant manager in sales. On Aug. 2, 2011, they welcomed another baby girl into the world, BrieAnna Rose Jandik.
Chrissy enjoyed many things throughout her life, including reading, crocheting, gardening, but most of all being a mother to her beautiful girls.
Chrissy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister and also took great loving care of her friends and family. She loved to be outdoors and always admired the beauty the world had to offer. One of her favorite places was the Oregon coast, which she spoke of often and displayed many pictures of its beauty.
Survivors include her husband, Chris and two daughters, Isabella and BrieAnna of Missoula; her parents Ed and Laura Hubbard of Arlee; her father and mother-in-law Charles and Juli Jandik of Mine Hill, New Jersey; her brother Evan Hubbard, his wife Lynelle and their daughter Maddox, of Lakeville, Minnesota; her sister Charlene Hubbard of Missoula; her grandmother Donna Jordan of Boise, Idaho; her grandmother Nancy Garrick of Yuma, Arizona, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 9 a.m. with services following at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Metzger at the Garden City Funeral Home in Missoula.
