Cheryl C. Owens

Cheryl C. Owens (Mitchell), 36, of Missoula, passed away in Great Falls on Saturday, June 27, 2015.

Cheryl was born in Virginia, Minnesota, on Nov. 25, 1978, and has lived in Missoula since 1989. Cheryl attended Big Sky High School and the University of Montana, graduating with honors, receiving an associate degree as an LPN. Her most enjoyable job was when working at St. Patrick Hospital.

Cheryl is survived by her parents, Don and Chris Mitchell of Missoula; and her two children, Kendyl (10) and William (8) Robinson, the loves of her life. She has extended family in Minnesota, Jeff (Kristi and Niko) Mitchell and Rick (Amanda and Maddux) Mitchell; grandmothers, Mary Thesing and Lois Mitchell; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cheryl had such a kind heart for everyone who knew her, was very fun loving and caring. Her family is heartbroken and will miss her deeply. Her radiant smile and bubbly personality will forever be missed.

Memorials in Cheryl's memory may be made to Camp Mak-A-Dream in Gold Creek. This wonderful place was such a great help to Cheryl with her medical struggles in her younger years.

A memorial service will be held at Garden City Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, with a luncheon to follow. A private family burial will occur at a later date.
