Louise Triplett

January 3, 1958 — February 28, 2025

Charlotte Louise Guiles Triplett passed peacefully February 28, 2025. Her beloved sister, Julie Wolff, was with her. She was always called Louise during her too short lifetime and she served in many roles —wife, mother, sister, mentor, haven, friend, confidante, comfort. She was a seeker of peace and of healthcare knowledge and bargains at secondhand stores.

She had so many talents that she shared with us all to our delight and betterment. She had a quirky sense of humor and a spirit of justice. There are many people she aided in myriad ways, most especially her son, Nicko. He had many health issues and she scoured the healthcare system in all its forms to find ways to provide a satisfying life for him. She unconditionally loved and encouraged her beloved eldest son, Jeremy, at all turns.

She married Vince Triplett when they were quite young and they built a life and a business through their hard work and solidarity and love for each other. Their generosity towards others of our community of St. Regis is still remembered and valued by many people.

Throughout her declining health, she fought to live and heal, more for us than for herself as the comfort and peace of others was always foremost in her life. Her husband, Vince Triplett, was an amazingly devoted caregiver that I know she was very grateful for.

She is survived by her husband, Vince Triplett, her son, Jeremy Triplett, her brothers, Don Guiles, Howard Estes, Greg Axe, and her sisters, Beth Guiles, Julie Guiles Wolff and Valerie Mancini Sidmore. She has two grandchildren that she doted on and many wonderful nieces and nephews and other relatives that were all very important to her.

To say that we will miss her is so inadequate to express the sense of loss we will have until we go to join her. She touched the lives of so many people with her unending and joyful desire to help others.
