Obituary for Charles L. Long

-Charles L. Long, 80, passed away at his home on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014. Charles was born on Feb. 21, 1934 in Omaha, NE to Roy and Winona (King) Long. Charles graduated from Missoula County High School. On June 30, 1994 Charles and Sheila L. Brown were married.
Charles belonged to several organizations throughout his life including; Bonner Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, He was the treasurer of Local 3038 for 18 years and was a committeeman for the Democratic Party for Bonner.
He worked for 43 years in the lumber industry and worked for Anaconda, Champion and Stimson. After he retired from the industry he worked for Dillard's for eleven and a half years.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Winona, and his brothers Donald and Michael.
He is survived by his wife Sheila L. Long, his sister Dorothy Young and many cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jeff Fleming as Celebrant. A reception will follow the service at the church followed by inurnment at New St. Mary's Cemetery following the reception.
