Charlie, age 81, passed away in Missoula after a brief illness.
He was born in Spokane to Frances and Barclay Goodsell. An only child, he was doted upon by his mother and grandmother. He attended Hutton Elementary, Lewis & Clark High School, WSU in Pullman, and served in the Army. He worked for KOP Cabinet Shop for the next 20+ years.
Charlie married Mary when he was 46 years old. He was a great storyteller, made lifelong friends, and always had a smile. His hobbies included woodworking and tinkering with cars.
Charlie was later diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, but that did not diminish his enjoyment of life or his kind nature. He enjoyed adventures, picnics, and making new friends. He was fun to take care of, always loving. Taking care of Charlie was a great gift to Mary and she will always be grateful.
