Cathy Ann Shell

Cathy Ann Shell, 49, of Missoula, passed away Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at her home of natural causes.

She was born July 19, 1966, in Anaconda to Larry and Rolene Huff. It was here that she spent the entirety of her childhood with her family.

She later moved to Seattle, where she met and married her husband, Jeffrey Kenneth Shell. They celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary this May.

Cathy was a fun, outgoing and caring woman to all she met. Even more, she was an amazing mother and a wonderfully loving wife.

Cathy had a deep faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and was a dedicated member of Missoula Alliance Church. There she was loved by many and was surrounded by wonderful support.

Cathy, an avid lover of animals, could often be found doting on her two dogs that she adored dearly.

She greatly enjoyed her regularly scheduled coffee dates during the week, and always looked forward to this time with her sweet friends.

Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Rolene Huff. She is survived by her husband; her son, Eric Shell, and daughter Kristi Shell; her father, Larry Huff; and her two sisters and their families, Stacie Huff and Denise Blekkenk.

A service will be held to honor Cathy's life at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Missoula Alliance Church with a reception to immediately follow.
