MISSOULA – Casey James Shelden died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 4 a.m. Death resulted from head injuries suffered in a fall at home. When it became clear no recovery was possible, Casey came home for hospice care. Casey passed quietly in his sleep. The family thanks all who aided in his care and who came to his side for his last hours.
Casey was born Feb. 23, 1979, in Phoenix, Ariz. He attended grade school in Butte, moving to Missoula in 1988 where he attended grade school at Hellgate Elementary, graduating from Big Sky High School in 1997. Casey loved spending time with friends, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, camping, and four wheeling.
Casey is at rest now. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Claudine and sister Jennifer.
