Carol Lee "Minnie" Rodefer (Hemer)

-Carol "Minnie" Lee (Hemer) Rodefer, 67, passed away at her home of natural causes on Tues. February 10, 2015. Carol was born on April 7, 1947 in Beaver Falls, PA to Harry J. Hemer and Helen L. (McClurg) Hemer. She attended Monaca High School and graduated in 1965. On May 20, 1966 Carol married Robert Bruce Rodefer, Sr. and they remained married until his passing on Jan. 28, 2003. On June 29, 2013 Carol married Dave Huerta. She was a member of Cat Fancier's Association and Rainbow Girls. She loved to golf, watch movies, listen to music, and watch the Griz and Pittsburgh sports teams. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Carol will be truly missed by her family and friends, she was a special lady with a heart of gold.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Bob. She is survived by her husband Dave Huerta; son Robert (Danelle) Rodefer, Jr. of Temple, TX; daughters Rachel (Marty) Krueger of Seattle, WA, Amy (Al) Madzelonka of Missoula; step-daughter Chloie Huerta of Great Falls; grandchildren Joshua and Logan Rodefer, Karalyn (Matt) Clouser, Nick and Courtney Krueger, Cassandra Ducept, Justin (Eryn) White, Jeremy White, and Alexis Madzelonka; great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Madison, and Blake Ducept, and Hayden White.
A memorial service will be held on Fri. Feb. 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran with Pastor Chris Flohr officiating. A reception will follow the service.
