Carol Olive Pitzer

Carol Olive Pitzer, 89, of Seeley Lake, MT. Passed away on Thursday November 17th, 2022, at Village Health and Rehabilitation in Missoula.

Carol was born on July 27, 1933, to Melvin and Roselle Knudson, on the family farm near Alexandra, MN.  She finished high school early and moved to Minneapolis to attend nursing school.  She married Henry Erickson, a friend of the family.  They had a daughter before moving to Seattle, WA.  There they divorced.

Carol met and married Jack M. Pitzer.  They moved to Spokane, WA. and had three more girls.  Carol and Jack lived in Spokane WA, Kalispell MT, moving to Grand Forks, BC before divorcing. Carol moved back to Spokane. Then to Vancouver, WA and the last years to Seeley Lake, MT.

Carol loved all living critters, especially horses, dogs and cats.  Carol enjoyed painting pictures, music and flowers.

Carol was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved her children and grandchildren very much. She was always there for her family.

Carol was baptized into the Seventh-Day Adventist church.

Carol was preceded in death by her brothers: Ronald Knudson and Curtis Knudson, daughter Kimberly.

She is survived by her brother Lloyd Knudson, Sisters Janet Oiser and Vicki Chandler, daughters Rickley Goodan, Leslie Macnowski, and Sherrie Martin. Grand Children: James, Marc and Tracie. Great grandchildren:  Saphron, Reannon, Soren, Aydin and Journey. Many Nephews and Nieces.

Her ashes are to be spread in WA, next summer.
