Obituary for Carmen Diane Lovell

Carmen Diane Beeman Lovell
On a beautiful peaceful fall day our mother, grandmother, sister, and friend quietly joined the angels in heaven with kindness and grace as the same way she lived.
Mom was born Aug. 22nd, 1944 to Earl and Alice Hodges. She was raised with her two sisters and one brother in Council and New Meadows, Idaho.
On July 15th, 1960 she married our dad, Robert Beeman, and from this union she had the joys of her life, her children, two sons and one daughter. As a family we moved from Riggins to Boise, ID. to Eastern Montana and the final move to Missoula. No matter where we went it was always an adventure.
After 34 years of marriage dad and mom divorced. In 1998, mom remarried her second husband John Lovell. They were married 15 years until his passing in 2013. Mom worked her life as a caretaker and homeworker.
Mom was a fantastic mom and grandma and that was her first enjoyment. She also enjoyed going to yard sales, ceramics, and a good cup of coffee with a friend and a game of cards or going to the “duck pond”. She was the most kind and generous person you would have ever met. We will forever love you!
Mom is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister Mary Lee Patterson, brother-in-law’s Jack Joyce and Chuck Patterson.
Mom is survived by her children and step-children; sons Bob, Bill, Wayne, Randy, and Noel; daughters Kim, Mona, Shawn, and Deb; sisters Virginia “Ginger” Joyce, Sue, JoAnn, Rose; brothers Butch Hodges, Jim, Ron, and Dick; our dad Robert Beeman; grandchildren (her loves) Savannah, Carson, Brad, Josh (Kaneesha), Tiffany (Brent), Rob (Christina), Caleb (Gabrielle), Zachary, Jacob, Kelsey, and Jake; great grandchildren her (little loves) Brayden, Hunter, Tayah, Tuff, Rebel, Carden, Bridger; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and of course her fur friend Mr. Peppers.
The family would like to thank the huge medical community that embraced our mom and us on this journey called “life”. Community Hospital, Community ICU friends, the Hospitalist team, the ER staff, Village Rehab Center, and Hospice. Thank you!
Cremation has taken place under the care of Garden City Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, October 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. at Garden City Funeral Home with a reception to follow.
Mom will be laid to rest with her parents in Council, ID. in the spring followed by a family fishing trip to celebrate a wonderful woman’s life.
