Candice “Candy” Diane (Weiler) Crawford, 77, of Missoula, Montana, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025.
Candy was born in Missoula on November 27, 1947, to Adam and Edith (Mullenax) Weiler. She was a proud, lifelong resident, receiving her education in the Missoula Public School System. She would later build a beautiful life here with her husband of over 30 years, Richard Crawford.
Candy was very crafty, especially when it came to beading jewelry. She also loved to enter her photography in the fair, even winning a few ribbons. She didn’t do it for the recognition, she simply enjoyed sharing her talent.
She may have developed her love for photography during one of her favorite jobs, working at Al Hamm Photography. Candy spent the last 10+ years working at Home Depot. There she developed lasting bonds with her customers and coworkers.
Candy was said to have a special gift for adding beauty to any house and turning it into a home. She also loved animals, most notably, her cat, Kiki. It doesn’t matter how someone came to know Candy, they will likely remember her for her gentle and loving soul.
Candy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Crawford and her grandson Dylan Crawford.
Candy is survived by her brother Steve (Kenni) Weiler; two sons Scott Geiger and Kenny (Melissa) Crawford; grandsons, Cody Crawford, Ty (Ashley) Geiger, and Hunter Geiger; granddaughter, Kayla Crawford,; great-grandchildren, Oaklynn Geiger, Colt Geiger, Charlie Mays, Levi Mays, and Dakota Crawford; brothers-in-law Rich Reich and Ken Crawford; sisters-in-law Sally Crawford and Debbie Rossman. Candy also had many nieces and nephews, having a special bond with Ron Johnson, who was like a son, and her favorite mechanic, Chase Crawford.
