Buena "Bunny" Neal

Buena “Bunny” Neal, 91, of Missoula passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at the Edgewood Vista – Missoula.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2023 at the Darby Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.

Buena “Bunny” Violet Neal, daughter of Ole and Mayme (Heine) Kerns, was born July 26, 1931 in Clatskanie, Oregon.  She graduated high school in Glendale, Oregon with the class of 1949..  Bunny was united in marriage with George William “Bill” Neal on April 17, 1951 in Reno, Nevada; four children were born to this union.

Bunny was a member of the Shriners with her late husband, Bill.  She was a talented seamstress and quilter.  She enjoyed gardening and being in the outdoors.  She helped Bill with their logging and trucking business for most of her working career.  Bunny was known for finding bargains at thrift stores and enjoyed coming home with great finds.  Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Bunny was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed.

Bunny is survived by two sons, Jim (Wendy) Neal; Guy (Jolene) Neal; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ole and Mayme Kerns; husband, Bill Neal; son, Alan Neal; daughter, Judy Neal and grandson, Brian Neal.
