Obituary for Buddie Jay Allred

Buddie Jay Allred, 87, passed away peacefully Monday, April 21, 2014 at his home in Lolo. He was born May 4, 1926 in Latuda, Utah, to Zen and Dollie Allred. He married Mollie Piedalue in 1947, and were sealed for time and eternity in the Cardston, Alberta LDS Temple. He is survived by his wife Mollie and his children; Loretta (Larry) Seipert, Lolo, Larry Allred, Great Falls, Paula (Thom) Watkins, Concord, CA, Charles(Lola) Beierle, Great Falls, his brother, Don Allred, two sisters; Beth Noland, and Jean Remington, eight grandsons; Brian (Kelly) Seipert, Bryce (Lisa) Seipert, Brent (Nicole) Seipert, Landon (Tiffany) Seipert, Isaac (Jennifer) Allred, Timothy (Ashley) Allred, Shane Murphy, Troy Beierle, four granddaughters; Cami (Rex) Thompson, Kimberly (John) Clement, Kari (Ty) Scott, Shawna (Anthony) Hopson, 33 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Ruth Barber and Lois Bachmeier.
At 17 years old Buddie went to Bremerton Washington and built Naval ships to support the war effort. He served in the Army as an M.P. in World War II. He also worked in the mines in Kellogg Idaho, in the logging business in Montana and was a licensed locksmith. He retired from the Missoula County Sheriff's Department where he served as a reserve deputy for 20 years. He had many jobs but the job he loved the most was helping people. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he held many church callings. He loved camping, fishing and hunting with his dad, brother and grandchildren. Buddie and Mollie had a loving marriage of 67 years and each day ended with a kiss at bedtime.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, April 26th at the Lolo Ward LDS Chapel on Mormon Creek Road in Lolo with a viewing before the service at 10:00.
