Brooke Sargent

Brooke Sargent, 44, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at home.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Garden City Funeral Home. Brooke Sargent, daughter of Steven and Suzanne (Dance) Bahr, was born January 3, 1979 in Blackfoot, Idaho.  She attended schools in the Blackfoot area and graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg, ID.   Brooke continued her education at Oregon Institute of Technology, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in ultrasound.  She graduated in 2003 Cum Laude and started her career at St.Patrick Hospital where she made many life long friends.  She was united in marriage with John Sargent and one daughter, Stella, was born to this union.  The couple later separated.

Brooke was an outgoing teenager and participated in Cheerleading and Dance Team in high school.  She enjoyed golfing and long-distance running.   She completed multiple half marathons including one with her Dad, Steve, in Las Vegas. Brooke cherished spending time with her family and friends.  Above all else, she was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. 

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Stella Sargent; parents, Steve and Suzanne Bahr; brothers, Kris (Dawn) Bahr; Casey (Jessica) Bahr; Cameron Bahr; a child she lovingly gave up for adoption, Nicole; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
