Brian Perez, 36, of Alder, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022. A celebration of life will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25 at a residence (5206 Rattlesnake Drive, Missoula). Please RSVP via text 406-370-8385.
Brian Todd Perez, son of Tammy Bedwell and Matthew Perez, was born April 17, 1986 in Butte, Montana. He attended schools in the Missoula area and graduated from Hellgate High School in 2004. Brian was united in marriage with Salina Spooner and two daughters were born to this union; the couple later separated. Brian and significant other, Keila Smith, had a son together. He worked as a dietary cook for most of his working career, most notably at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula and Tobacco Root Mountain Care Center in Sheridan.
Brian enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. He enjoyed longboarding and playing/ watching basketball. He had a love for tattoos and expressing his passions through their art. Brian’s main love in life were his children. He would do anything for them and loved them beyond comprehension. Recently making “Concrete Creations” together, including a bird bath for his mother, Tammy. Above all else, Brian was a devoted father, son, partner, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Dr. Cesar Perez; Isaac Marrinos; brother, Vincent Perez; aunt, Cathy Kostad; uncle, Michael Jorgensen; cousin, Terry Burgess.
