Brendan Wolfe Dempsey, 42, of Missoula, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at St. Patricks Hospital from Covid.
Brendan was born on December 29, 1978 in San Diego, Ca. His early years were in San Diego, then the family moved to Eatonville, Washington for short time before returning to San Diego.
In high school Brendan was in the marching band for 4 years playing the clarinet. He was a lover of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking and camping and spending time with his family.
Brendan worked at a local nursery which fueled his love of plants and nature. He moved to Mira Loma to work for his brother Christopher in the roofing business. This is where he met his soul mate Dawn. One look was all it took! They fell in love and moved to Montana in 2009 to start their life together. They started their adventure with sons Samuel and Daniel only to watch their family continue to grow.
On July 9, 2010 they were married in Missoula and over the next three years they added to their family with the births of Nathaniel, Abel and Amalia. They built their life and watched their family grow and blossom.
Brendan worked for DirectTV for almost 8 years and then found his home with NorthStar Aviation where he became a valued employee and a beloved coworker for the last 3+ years.
Brendan leaves behind his wife Dawn, children Samuel, Daniel, Nathaniel, Abel and Amalia. He is survived by grandfather Gottfried Klement, parents Ingrid Dempsey & John Aderholt, Timothy Dempsey, siblings Michael Dempsey (children Corey, Jared, Mariah, Aloysha), Bridgette (husband Tony, children Johnathan, Jeremey), Colleen (children Danielle, Timothy, Taylor) Christopher (wife Dawn, children Drew, Kelsey, Amanda, Justin), Jeff (wife Amy, children Jeremy, Zachary, Jordan, Megan, Rowan, Regan, Calvin), and 17 great nieces and nephews. As well as many, many friends who will all miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held at Garden City Funeral Home on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 3:00-5:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3201 Bancroft St, Missoula, MT 59801 on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 1:00 pm. For those unable to attend the service will be livestreamed below.
