Brad M. Wonnacott, 63, of Missoula passed away on Monday June 19th, 2017 at St. Patrick Hospital of natural causes.
He was born on September 12th, 1953 to Gilbert and Geneva Wonnacott. He was born and raised in Missoula, and graduated from Sentinel High School. As a young man he practiced Tae Kwon Do, and was an admirer of all martial arts.
Brad was a talented actor and singer, performing in many plays at the Missoula Community Theater. Some of his favorite performances were Mr. Snow in Carousel, and the silent King Sextimus in Once Upon A Mattress. He loved riding motorcycles with his friends. One of his favorite rides was up to Lochsa Lodge. He loved the beautiful scenery and leaning into the curves of the road until his foot pegs scraped the road. He also had a deep love for animals, and was most happy when he had one of his pets in his lap. He loved sharing stories with anyone that would listen, and was very expressive in his story telling.
With his first wife, Christina Frankenfield, they had a daughter, Michellle. He later married Debbie in 1984, and together they had two daughters, Amanda and Heather, and a son, Nathan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Geneva; daughter Michelle; brother Larry Vandecar; and his cousin Randy Holdsambeck.
Survivors include his wife Debbie; his children Amanda (Tom) Vesser, Nathan (Svitlana) Wonnacott, and Heather Wonnacott; four grandchildren Thomas, Tristan, and Adaline Vesser, and Travis Allred; cousins Rex Holdsambeck and Ernie Brooker; and countless friends.
Visitation will be Friday June 23rd at 10:00 AM at Garden City Funeral Home with the memorial at 11:00 AM., with a reception immediately following. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden.
