Bonnie Louise Sedita

Bonnie Louise Sedita, 71 of Missoula, passed away on Saturday November 19, 2022 at St Patrick’s hospital.

Bonnie was born in 1951 to Harvey and Barbara lande, in Minneapolis, when her family made a short trip there. They returned to Montana in 1953, where her final three siblings were born, making her the middle of eight children.

Bonnie had an adventurous nature. After graduating from the Modern Business College in Missoula, she traveled to many places to live for short adventures. Those places include Minneapolis MN, San Jose CA, Omaha NE, and Alaska, where she worked on the pipeline.

Bonnie returned to Missoula in 1980, where she met and married her husband William Sedita in 1983. William passed away in 1995 leaving Bonnie to raise their two sons Billy Joe and Tony.

Bonnie worked for the Montana department of transportation, retiring after 24 years. She then moved on to banquet management at several hotel and catering companies. Cooking was her biggest passion and she was very good at it.  Family and friends will always remember her for her famous carrot cake.

Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband William, Brothers Harvey and Marty, and sister Beckey.

Bonnie is survived by her son’s Billy Joe (Alicia) Sedita Spokane WA, Tony (Amanda) Sedita Missoula MT, her loving grandchildren Sophia, Dallas, William, Alessandra, Decker, Brenson, and Liberty, and siblings Martha, David, Barry, and Lenny. 

Services will be held on Friday December 9, 2022 at 11:30 at Garden City Funeral Home in Missoula. A reception to honor Bonnie’s life will Immediately follow.
