Bonnie Ann Norris (née Henning) of Missoula, Montana, went home to her Lord and Savior, on May 18, 2021. She was 90.
Bonnie was born on January 15, 1931 in Muscatine, Iowa to Arnold and Wilma Henning. As a young girl she lived with her family on their farm near Tipton, Iowa and was educated in the Tipton Public Schools. She fondly recounted memories of many escapades with her pony, Nancy.
As she neared high school age Bonnie’s family moved into town so she could participate in school activities: graduating from Tipton High School in 1948. After moving from Tipton, Galesburg IL, and Moline IL, Bonnie worked as an Educational or Financial Secretary in Clinton, Iowa and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, where she was baptized.
In 1977, Bonnie moved to Phoenix, AZ working in various Executive Secretary positions before retiring and moving to Montana. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren in Arizona, California, and Montana and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Superior, MT. She also loved her many dogs, reading, the mountains, and took loving care of her many friends throughout the country.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter Nicki A. (James) Hansen, Savannah, GA; her son Frank L. (Debbie) Norris III, Superior, MT; two sisters-in-law Joan T. Henning, Davenport, IA and Susan J. (Glen) Nebergall, Tipton, IA; along with six grandchildren: Blaine (Ginger) Hansen, Nickolas (Lindsay) Hansen, Tiffany (Reggie) Brown, Benjamin A. Coltharp, Chad (Melissa) Norris, Connor (Alie) Norris; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
