Bobette Brookshire was born to Boyd and Marian Reeder in Whitefish, Montana on August 24, 1934. She passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Bobette received her early schooling in Whitefish and graduated from Whitefish High School in 1952. She attended the University of Montana during her freshman year and was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. She continued her education at Sacred Heart School of Nursing and Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, graduating in 1956.

Bobette married Robert Brookshire in Idaho Falls, Idaho on January 28, 1971. After retiring from nursing, she got her insurance license and worked with her husband in insurance sales and service. She retired in 2000.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Marian Reeder, her mother and father-in-law Dawn and Logan Brookshire, brother, Norman Reeder, brother-in-law, Dr. Jack Brookshire, granddaughter, Amy Christenson, grandson, Matthew Christenson.

Bobette is survived by her husband Bob Brookshire, sister-in-law, Linda Reeder of Lolo, Montana, sister-in-law, Joan Brookshire of Leadville, Colorado, step-son, Bob Brookshire of Hamilton, Montana, step-daughter, Kathy (Ken) Christenson of Omaha, Nebraska, grandson, Michael (April) Christenson of Portland, Oregon, granddaughter, Blaire (Spencer) Klottcamp of Utah and great granddaughter, Mara Christenson of Kansas City, Missouri, five nephews, and one very special niece, Tammy Henry of Spokane, Washington.

Cremation has taken place. No services will be held per her wishes.
