Billie Jean Brown

Billie Jean Brown, 68, of Missoula, passed into the arms of our Lord on Monday, May 16, 2016, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Butte on Sept. 27, 1947, to William and Jean Rossiter. As a young woman, she met Edwin Brown, the love of her life, and the couple married July 17, 1967. Out of this union they were blessed with three children. She was a caretaker from an early age with four younger siblings and spent the majority of her life taking care of others.

She will be forever missed by her daughter and her family, her sister and her family, her brother and his family, sisters-in-law and their families, six grandchildren and their families, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 20, at Holy Spirit Parish, 130 S. Sixth E., officiated by Terri Grotzinger.
