Missoula-Beverly Ann Kiker, 66, passed away of natural causes at Community Medical Center on Jan. 1, 2013. Beverly was born Oct. 27, 1946 in Dekalb County, Alabama to Hughes and Vera Ballenger. Beverly was a hard worker; she owned her own business at one time here in Missoula but spent her last years as a real estate broker. She was a devoted and dedicated woman to her Lord and Savior as well as to her church (Lighthouse Baptist Church) which she was a member of almost since its inception, 14 and half years ago. Her commitment was demonstrated through the many ministries she helped with at her church such as being the church pianist, financial secretary and founding and running the single ladies Sunday school as a teacher. One of Beverly's favorite Bible verses was Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother James Ballenger, a niece and numerous cousins as well as her church family at Lighthouse Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held on Sat. Jan 5th at Lighthouse Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with a potluck reception following in the church basement. Pastor Tom Lemmons will be officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, donations or memorials may be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church or a charity of your choice. Cremation is under the care of Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory. Condolences and memories may be left for the family at www.missoulafuneralhomes.com
