MISSOULA – Our "Little Lady," Betty Reynolds, passed away on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at St. Patrick Hospital after a brief illness. Betty was born on the family ranch near Townsend on Oct. 1, 1921. She was the second of eight children born to George and Mildred Kieckbusch.
Betty married her high-school sweetheart, Jimmie Reynolds, on Aug. 11, 1945. They moved to Helena, where they raised their three oldest children, Jack, Sandra and Dan, and were surprised when their youngest daughter, Deborah, joined the family. In 1963, the family moved to Missoula.
Betty worked for Western Bank until her retirement in 1984. She and Jimmie enjoyed traveling, especially their trips to Jackpot, Nev.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie; son Dan; and five siblings. Surviving family includes son Jack (Karen); daughters, Sandra Anattol (Jim) and Deborah Clark, all of Missoula; sister Marge Prebil and brother Mike Kieckbusch, both of Helena; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
At Betty's request, no formal services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of the Rockies. The family would like to thank Dr. Stephanie Welch, the fifth floor nursing staff at St. Patrick Hospital, and Hospice of Missoula.
