Betty Ann "Petee"(Beaman) Malcolm, 86, passed away at her home in Missoula on August. 26, 2014, after a brief and couragouss battle with cancer. She was born on April 15, 1928 in Missoula.
Petee was the youngest daughter of La Vaughn and Betty Beaman. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Adelle and brother Bill. Betty Ann married her high school sweetheart Roy G. Malcolm and they were happily married until Roy passed away at the age of 76. They made their home in Missoula and survived the raising of five girls.
Betty Ann is survived by daughters Debbie (Ken) Ross, Merilee Malcolm, Bonnie Malcolm, Kris (Frank) Reed and Karla Malcolm. She had fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was a talented artist who excelled at carving, drawing and water color. She loved traveling, summers at Flathead Lake, buttercups and fudgesicles. She had a sparkling sense of humor and a generous heart. She inspired even her Hospice worker when she said, "My bucket list is empty, I've done everything I ever wanted to do."
