Bernice Glenda Baker, 85, of Missoula, passed away Friday, March 5, 2015, at the St. Luke Hospital in Ronan. Bernice was born Feb. 20, 1930, in Clyde Park to parents James S. and Nelly Mae (Jarrett) Adams. Bernice attended schools in Livingston and graduated from Livingston High School. She married Gerald G. Baker in Billings in 1955. She loved Grizzly football. After her husband passed away, she was gifted season tickets from her girlfriends, which were in the North End Zone. Bernice was independent and self-reliant.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald in 1997; four brothers; two sisters and her parents. She is survived by sons, Doug Baker of Moiese, Mark Baker of Sidney, Greg Baker of Fort Collins, Colorado, Byron Baker of Sun City West, Arizona, Gary Baker of Sula; and daughter Jan Shank of Arizona.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 13, at 1 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens followed by a reception in the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
