Barbara Jane Noggle, a woman of boundless energy and endless good spirits, passed away on December 14, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born in Prairie du Chien, WI, to Clyde and Margaret Noggle, Barb was the beloved sister of Sharon, Laura, Dick, and John. Her journey led her to the beautiful landscapes of Florence, MT, where she lived a life filled with adventure, love, and laughter.

Barb's story is one of serendipity and love. In the 80s, she was on a quest to find a cat but fate had other plans. Instead, she found her soulmate, Steve. Their love story was one for the ages, filled with shared laughter, mutual respect, and a deep bond that only grew stronger with time. Barb had two stepdaughters, Laura and Amelia, who appreciated Barb's zest for life and her love for the great outdoors.

Barb was a doting grandmother to Nicole, Brandon, Hailee, Wyatt, and Conner, and she cherished her role as a great-grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them, sharing stories, and teaching them the joys of outdoor activities.

An avid runner, yogi, and kayaker, Barb was a woman who embraced life with open arms. She was a scrabble queen, a cribbage enthusiast, and a lover of music. She had a passion for hiking and skiing, and her adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, always seeking new experiences and adventures.

Barb was a woman of many virtues. You could always count on her sense of humor, her love for nature was inspiring, and her kindness and warmth were felt by all who knew her. She was courageous, trusted, and could always be counted on. Her friends knew her as a loyal and trusted companion, always ready with a helping hand or a comforting word. She taught those around her the value of true friendship and the joy of adventure.

After earning her Master’s degree in the Vocational Therapy, Barb dedicated her career to the Vocational Rehabilitation Department of Community Medical Center. Her work was more than just a job; it was a calling. She was passionate about helping others and made a significant impact on the lives of many.

Barb's passing leaves a void that can never be filled. However, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. In lieu of flowers or donations to charity, the family requests that you take a walk outside with your loved ones, in honor of Barb's love for the outdoors. A celebration of life will be held in the spring in Montana along with a remembrance and celebration of life in Wisconsin in the summer.

Barbara Jane Noggle was a beacon of light in this world, a woman of strength, kindness, and unyielding love. She was a loyal friend, a trusted confidante, and a woman who lived life to the fullest. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts, and her spirit will continue to inspire us.
