Audrey McAndrew Palagi

Audrey McAndrew Palagi, 92, a Great Falls native, died June 16, 2018 in Missoula, Montana.

She was born May 17, 1926 to Erna and Edward McAndrew. She worked 24 years in the Flight Surgeons’ Office at Malmstrom Air Force Base.

She married Albert Stephens July 1946, and later divorced. She married Gordon Palagi September 2, 1992. They enjoyed 23 years of loving companionship until his death in 2015.

She volunteered at the Salvation Army. She was an avid reader, enjoyed walking and loved hiking in Glacier Park.

Survivors include her son Craig Stephens (Roberta) of Dallas and daughter Leslie Clayborn (Jim) of Missoula; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Stephens and brothers, Ronald McAndrew and Edward McAndrew Jr.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
