Anna Marie Hagen Plaster

– Anna Marie Hagen Plaster, 81, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015. She was born Sept. 25, 1934, in Minnesota to John Hagen and Clara Johnson Hagen. She grew up in Ferndale, Washington. She graduated from Ferndale High School and went to Business College. She married Vincent Plaster in 1961 but he passed away after five years of marriage. Anna moved to Missoula in 1970 where she worked for Wholesale Grocery and for a pediatric dental office.

Anna was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed sewing and doing crafts. She spent many hours playing games and solving puzzles. Generous of spirit and quick to laugh, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Anna's motto was "do a good deed every day," something that her father instilled in her. Anna was sweet and kind, but her real gift was how she loved children. She did not have any children of her own but was an honorary mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to many. Anna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she had callings in Primary, Relief Society and Young Women.

She is survived by her brother, Raymond Hagen and his wife, Pat Hagen; her sister, Delores Swobody and her husband Don; her brother-in-law, Raymond Gott; several nieces and nephews; and her special Montana family, the Kerns and Lowrys. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Vincent; her brother Curtis Hagen; and her sister Marilyn Gott.

Services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 5th Ward located at 3050 South Ave. W., Missoula. Services will be officiated by Bishop Don Calkins. Her burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
